The beginning of each new volleyball season is a busy and exciting time for the Bend Volleyball Association (BVA) players and executive board. Right about now, new team sponsors are signing on for the season and usually have questions. We, the BVA Executive Board, want to start the season off right by giving you, the potential sponsor, all the answers you need, such as:

Why would I want to be a BVA team sponsor?

For a small fee you get:

Your team’s name and league scores submitted weekly to The Bulletin sports section and The Source.
Your company name and logo/banner displayed on our BVA website.
The opportunity to advertise your business in the quarterly newsletter and on the BVA website, by making special promotional offers to BVA members.

What does it cost me to become a BVA team sponsor?
As little or as much as you want. Team fees are $200 for the 8-12 week league with individual players responsible for their own BVA membership fees. In addition, many sponsors pay for team shirts imprinted with the sponsor’s name.

What is the team fee payment used for?
The BVA is a non-profit organization run by a volunteer executive board. Funds go toward running the year round league play and tournaments, buying equipment, awards, publishing the quarterly newsletter, and maintaining the BVA website.

How do I become a sponsor?
If you already have a team in mind, your captain can submit the team roster with payment directly to the BVA at PO Box 8750, Bend, OR 97708. Teams are accepted on a first come, first served basis. If you are interested in sponsoring a team, but do not have enough players, or any players, the BVA can help you setup a team. Call our telephone at 383-7366 and a board member will contact you.
